We have just secured a venue for this year’s awards. This year the awards will be held in the New England region in Northern NSW at the Uralla Bowmans Club, on the weekend of 3rd to the 5th October 2015.

The Uralla Bowmans Club is situated 23 km west of Armidale on the Bundarra Road, and lies on the banks of Boorolong Creek. It will be a great spot to hold the awards, with space for camping (with showers and toilets), fishing (trout in the creek) and a clubhouse to hold the awards in. In addition, it is within an hour’s drive of Copeton Dam for the keen cod fisho’s amongst the TT ranks.

There are also several target courses set out, which we will be able to fling a few arrows at during the weekend. As usual the awards presentation will be on the Saturday evening, and the AGM on the Sunday morning, but this year we are also planning on having some additional bowhunting/archery related presentations and demonstrations throughout the weekend. We are currently working on this and will email out a more formal program for the weekend in the coming months.

If you are thinking of coming along to the awards, and reckon you could run a hunting/archery/fishing/camping related demo, then flick an email and we’ll get you on the program.

The club also has a clubhouse which will house the usual TT trophy and photo display, so please give some thought to bringing something along (big or small) to contribute to the display. It should be a great event.
